Terms of Service

By using Neighboo you agree to these terms. Last updated 8 July 2026.

The community rules

  • Be kind. Neighboo is for helping, not for selling or scamming.
  • Everything you list must be given for free.
  • Only share items and food you would happily give to a friend or family member.
  • No illegal items, no alcohol or tobacco, no weapons, no medication, no live animals.

Food safety

When sharing food, mention any allergens you know of and give an honest pickup window. Do not share food that is past its use-by date, has been left at unsafe temperatures, or that you would not eat yourself. Everyone who accepts food does so at their own risk. Neighboo is a peer-to-peer platform and cannot inspect the food shared.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for the content you post. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules or harm the community.

Subscriptions

Neighboo+ and Business accounts are recurring subscriptions billed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Content ownership

You keep ownership of the photos and text you publish. You give Neighboo a non-exclusive licence to display them in the app so other neighbours can find them.

Liability

Neighboo is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it safe, useful and available, but we do not guarantee that any handover will happen, that any item will be as described, or that the service will always be uninterrupted.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way we will let you know inside the app before the change takes effect.
